Illyria Connect: recruitment platform connecting Kosovo and Germany

The client

Illyria Connect is based in Kosovo and connects motivated students and job seekers with companies in Germany. It focuses on four sectors: gastronomy, hotels, logistics and warehouses, and retail. The company works with two audiences at once: candidates who want to work in Germany, and German employers looking for staff.

The challenge

Two very different visitors land on the same website. Candidates need clear, honest information in their own language and an easy way to apply. Employers in Germany need to understand quickly how the service works and how to start a conversation. Recruitment is a field built on trust, so the site also had to set realistic expectations and handle personal data with care.

Our approach

• Three languages from day one. Albanian, German and English versions with their own URLs and correct language tags, so each audience finds the site in its own language on Google.
• Two clear paths. “Build your candidate profile” for candidates and a dedicated “For employers” page for companies, each with its own content and call to action.
• A guided application. A step-by-step form covers personal details, education and language levels, preferred sector and experience, with an optional CV upload and a clear consent step.
• Honest, trust-building copy. The process is explained in four simple steps, and the site says plainly what an application does and does not include.
• Privacy built in. A cookie choice with analytics switched off by default, and a fast custom build instead of a heavy template.
